i failed the 3-hour GD test. spectacularly. i will be taking a "how not to eat like a fat ass" class on friday, and then i will start seeing an endocrinologist on 9/15. hopefully, i will be able to control the issue with diet alone, but lord knows a few shots in the ass, stomach, or thigh won't faze me a bit ;-p
i guess this, and the fact that van is transverse, explain my gargantuan size. i am concerned about van's size and lung development. i'm sure that i'll be seeing a peri again soon to check on his size and get him an NST. i know this is a good thing b/c it's a great level of care, but i do feel like a bit of a flunkie knowing that i messed up enough to cause van problems.

Stop that silly talk. Tons of women get GD all the time and it has nothing to do with "messing up"! You're addressing it quickly and there's no one more dedicated to diligent research than you. Van is doing just fine in there!
So keep your chin up and enjoy the spectacular peri ultrasounds. And I promise I'll sit out my afternoon orange sherbet in solidarity. :)
aww you shouldn't say that. I don't think you directly influenced your GD. I agree with Dawn, lots of women have it and it's become so mainstream now that it's not a big deal and is treatable. Little little man will be ok. Hakuna Matata!! =)
